It's so good to have friends. Thanks exocitism for your comment. You've known me since I started that relationship and I sometimes forget all the shit and stuff that happened over the 2 and a half years that we were together. I plan to move onto bigger and better and sexier things and enjoy my new freedom. i'm still nervous about Sin City today because I worried that he'll be there,watch and try to interact with me in a negetive way. plus I want to play tonite and I'll be so hurt if he fucks that up. UPDATING DATA
Well first I want to thank everyone who has been and continues to come to my new shop since we opened. I'm amazed at the support and cheers that we've gotten about the place and it really makes it all worth while. I am thankfully no longer sick with that terrible cold that I had last week. My theory on that was that working 6 weeks in a row for 7 days a week is not so good for a little cupcake like me. I decided that the best remedy is good living. So I'm back on the vegetarian train, and no more junk food, no soda, no processed foods. Only yummy good food. can't sleep I woke up at about 3am this morning totally dehydrated and I lay awake for about 10mins until I decided to just get up and watch some tv and update my lj. I'm not even sleepy now but I think i'll try to sleep a little more in a little bit. Otherwise I'll be so tired later and I'm a the store from 12-5pm today. My grandma also in the hospital right now so I'm going to visit tomorrow after work. She hasn't been to well this year and my dad's worried that this year will probably be her last because she's deterioating so quickly in such a short span of time. I don't know if that's the reason I can't sleep but I think it is adding to my stress level. I haven't had a day off since about feb12th because of the shop but thankfully the word is starting to get out and business is pickin up. I have 2 choices I can either be closed one day a week and take that day off or I can hire someone to watch the shop on my day off. Unfortuantely I can't afford to hire anyone right now until I pay off both of my visa cards that I used to pay all of my business expenses to open the shop. I'm just worried about burning myself out. It's just really hard to take care of your self when you're working an average of 9-12 hours a day everyday for an extended amount of time. |

SO sashenna cut my v-bangs but for some odd reason my hair seems to lean in one direction. I almost need about quarter of a can of hair spray to get the little bastard hairs to stay down. There's got to be an easier way to make them sit properly. ahhh it's so fustrating |

irony is so strange and mean also. I took the bus home and I couldn't reach my dad to give me a lift back to my house so I started walking. 3 kilometres after in platforms, my feet were killing me. Then my dad calls. "Hey I'll drop by your house and visit." OK. So mum and dad drag me out to dinner. The restaurant is 1 minute walk away from the bus stop that I got off at before i started walking. Now my feet are killing me and Irony has reared it's silly head. AAHHHHHH ok now I'm done ranting. |

I've been growing out my hair for a while but I'm feeling the need to cut v bangs in my hair again. I haven't had them for over a year but I think that my current hair (besides being blue) is too straight and too boring. Plus I need to touch up my roots I think that they must be at least 4 inches now. CRAZY how did I let them go this long. ARe there certain techniques for cutting v bangs the last time I had them they always seem to sway towards the right. I had to gel them to make them stay straight. |

I'm going to watch Kamikizee girls tonight. My friend melissa burned it for me as a opening shop gift. She's awesome. DEADLY COUTURE

chinatown shopping. I went looking for somesort of decorative screen that I could use but the only ones I could find were those cheap shoji screens for $73. They're too boring. I was hoping to find some cheap chinese doors to use but they were all over a couple hundred bucks. AHHH. No luck today. I think I'll have to check out liquidation world this weekend. I also need to move my hutch and sofa bed out of my studio. I'm thinking about joining the coop car network, just so I can move this shit outta here. Does anyone have any experience with them? Let me know. |

the search
I need butch pants I don't have any. Then there's the question to pack or not to pack. I don't think it's totally necessary to pack if you're doing drag but it might help so it takes the focus off my hips which gave me away every time. Plus what do I do with the long hair? how do you make that look butch. ideas I need ideas. I think I might try going for a femme goth boy look and use makeup to make myself look more adrogynous. I'll still bind my chest but I'll be more pretty boy, than "man", I don't think I pull off the "man" look to well. |

lovely weekend
I had a lovely weekend. Saturday was a sleep in day and it felt so good to sleep in for once and actually have chance to do my make up properly before I went to work. I had a busy day meeting clients, which was kinda funny because everyone called to delay their appointments. It was all good though. I find that if I start the day with a large coffee that I tend not to mind waiting and working on other stuff while I wait for clients. I'm slowly catching up with work and getting back on track but the taboo show totally cleared out alot stock and having to re-organize alot of stuff in the studio in order to get things working better. oh back to saturday. Ironically my last client of the day was also heading to the same Tea Party and we had a lovely chat on the way over there. We discussed sexual identity, orientation, and what is probibly best described as trans-fetishism. and it was really great to reflect upon my own fetishistic evolution by hearing about someone elses and by the way boys in drag are soooo hot. I gave it some thought the day after and I really miss the trans side of myself. I always felt really butch in high school but I felt that I looked way to femme so decided to shave my waist length hair in an experiment in being butch. It was then when I came out as being bi, but I would later come out as a lesbian a year later. I was always into fetish by myself and in my own space but it wasn't an outward experience for me. My outward style was more about defining a queer identity but that was really limited to what was exposed to and at that time all I knew was butch, dyke style. It's still a little funny to look back on old pictures and see what a totally butch les I was and that was only four years ago. Buzz cut hair, frumpy camo pants and muscle shirts. I remember being mistaken for a boy constantly and I didn't mind that assumption of my gender because it wasn't that I saw myself as a boy, but I didn't associate myself as a girly girl either. I don't really see myself that way anymore but I don't really feel like I've changed that much either, even though physically and appearance wise I went from uber butch to fetish femme. i guess where I am now is that I really want to do more drag style. I started getting interested in drag king stuff when I found the the Drag King Book at little Sister's book store. It's that boyish look I think is so cute, and after dabbling in both boy and femme styles drag and gender fuck is so hot. In essence in the end it's a amalgamation of my gender queer evolution. I was talking to some gals about doing a drag king social, We could all meet up, get ready together ( which would be so so hot) or meet other drag babes on the way and we could do dinner, coffee, movie, anything. Boys could come to, whether in drag or drag in drag (ex. boys dressed as girls, dressed as boys) If anyone is interested reply to the post. Current Mood:  amused |

I finally have high speed internet at home. I also have full cable so It's definately L Word night. I can't help falling in love with Shane. umm yummy butch lesbian. i also had an amazing weekend at taboo. To all of those who were at the show, thanks for making it such a sucess. There were so many fabulous and beautiful people at the show and I can't thank all of you who came buy and give me a hug and a hello for support. It definately lowered my stress levels.
